The virtual flow computer software is the next generation in flow computing. Like a conventional flow computer it performs functions such as volume correction, flow totalization, turbine linearization, and meter proving

Virtual flow computing is the most economical solution in case of multiple flow metering streams. It is also a logical consequence of the fieldbus trend in the process industry that will (partially) replace conventional hardwired I/O.

Based on the succesfull Application Builder (APB) concept, already in use for the FC5x series flow computers, with virtual flow computing a library of proven and certified function blocks to perform its flow calculations.

Software applications for the FC9x virtual flow computer sofware are created on a Windows based PC, using our development tool, Application Builder (APB). The application programmer can graphically configure the flow computer application-diagram by selecting (certified) blocks from a menu.
